Curriculum

The curriculum of Nithyananda Bhavan English Medium School aims to achieve the requirements of cognitive, affective and psychomotor development of the learner. The curriculum practices of our school aim at developing 21st century skills such as creative and critical thinking, complex communication, problem solving, Socio-emotional learning that are required by a learner for his/her holistic development so that she/he can contribute to the progress and development of the society, nation and world. Teachers prepare class wise Annual Pedagogical Plan of every subject, split up plan for every month/unit/topic during the beginning of the Academic Year to achieve the Learning outcome recommended in curriculum by NCERT.

Teachers plan various Formative Assessment Strategies during the teaching learning processes. Different types of worksheets are used to develop knowledge and thinking skills. Based on the ormative assessment feedback, teachers identify the leaning gap of every learner and support him/her to achieve the standard level of learning before the summative assessment of every term.

By planning through multidisciplinary approach, teachers can create an integration of different subjects in an interesting manner. Students are much interested in art integrated project works planned by the subject teachers with art teachers. These activities provide good knowledge about different performing arts and explore the art form of other part of the country. Students especially Senior Secondary and Secondary students are much benefited by integrating digital technologies with various performing arts in all subjects especially in English Language.
